A top-tier global Am Law firm with a premier regulatory and government-facing practice, is seeking a Marketing & Business Development Manager to support high-profile practice groups focused on government relations, public affairs, government contracts, and the education sector.This is a highly strategic opportunity for an experienced legal marketing/business development professional to partner closely with senior practice leadership in driving growth initiatives across complex, fast-moving, and politically sensitive practice areas.This role will be hybrid, requiring 4-days on-site in Washington, D.C. Key responsibilities include:Driving strategic business development and marketing plans aligned with practice growth prioritiesManaging pitches, RFP responses, client presentations, and strategic pursuit opportunitiesSupporting client targeting and relationship development initiativesExecuting integrated marketing campaigns, thought leadership initiatives, and profile-raising effortsOverseeing events, webinars, sponsorships, and client-facing programsManaging budgets, tracking ROI, and delivering actionable market and competitive intelligenceCollaborating directly with senior partners and cross-functional BD/marketing teams globallyIdeal background:5+ years of legal or professional services marketing/business development experienceStrong experience supporting regulatory, government-facing, public policy, or similarly sophisticated practice areasProven success managing high-level stakeholders and complex strategic initiativesExceptional writing, project management, and executive presence
