Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef to join our team at Ethos Plastic Surgery based in San Francisco. We are looking for a local chefs with a nutritional background to support patients' pre and post-op nutritional needs with customized meals delivered or prepared in-person around the time of surgery. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry, with a focus on nutrition and health expertise. Responsibilities: - Communicate with the team at Ethos Plastic Surgery to understand the unique needs of patients depending on their surgical procedure - Plan and coordinate food production, including ordering ingredients, developing & managing customized menus, and shipping prepared ready-to-cook meals OR preparing meals in-person as a home chef - Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures Skills: - Experience in the food industry with a focus on nutrition and health - Ability to cook and prepare a variety of dishes - Effective communication and organizational skills - Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays - Commitment to maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation, and service - Knowledge of kitchen safety, hygiene, and food safety regulations - Experience with kitchen equipment and supplies Job Types: Part-time, Contract, Temporary Pay: $26.02 - $40.00 per hour Expected hours: 5 – 20 per week Experience: Culinary experience: 1 year (Preferred) Cooking: 1 year (Preferred) Work Location: Hybrid remote in San Francisco, CA 94102
