If the answer is yes, we invite you to consider joining us in boldly challenging what's possible for a sustainable world.Learn about our benefits designed for you to Thrive at work and at home.We boldly go.Where Is The WorkOn-Site (5 days)Manufacturing Cost AccountantResponsibilitiesAssist in annual budgeting and standard cost setting process, forecasting, and reporting of the income statement and balance sheetManage annual physical inventory process and related reconciliationsManage CapEx process and projects with related tracking reconciliationsManage the obsolete & slow-moving inventory reserves and planningIdentify and investigate material variances to ensure accurate material costExecute standards-setting process and maintain standard costs in ERPPartner with Controller on the monthly close process, balance sheet reconciliations, and journal entriesAssist in the education and compliance of financial processes and policies, supporting compliance with Sarbanes Oxley and related audits, as well as company practices & valuesDrive and participate in operational excellence initiatives to support achievement of organizational goalsEnsure the production of timely, accurate and relevant financial reports to plant management to facilitate understanding and analysis of the business and business opportunitiesCoach & develop cost accountants on both material cost system work and data analyticsSupport with ad hoc analysis of results, budgets, and forecasts with focus on P&L performance, cash flow, working capital optimization, investments and productivity, and financial ratiosQualificationsBachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, or related discipline requiredMinimum of 3 years of accounting and/or finance experience in a manufacturing or distribution environmentExperience in complex integrated supply chain is a plusStrong PC Skills required: Advanced Excel Skills, PowerPoint, and TeamsKey CompetenciesSkills and competencies should include verbal and written communication, attention to detail, critical thinking, problem solving, and the ability to work independently and, also, in a team environmentProven success implementing process improvement and change management initiatives strongly preferredStrong ability to coach and teach junior cost accountants both technical and soft skills relevant to their roleUnderstanding of cost accounting with overheads and absorption, material backflushing, inventory valuation, and material variance system managementAnnual Base Salary Range Or Hourly Base Pay Range$51,800.00 - $93,309.99Compensation TypeSalaryIncentive EligibleNoSales Commission EligibleNoDisclaimer: We strive to provide competitive compensation for this position, tailored to a variety of factors.
