Job DescriptionTitle: Director of OperationsDepartment: OperationsReports To: Chief Executive OfficerFLSA Status: ExemptPay Range: $80,000 - $110,000 annuallyLocation: California HybridSchedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday; occasional evenings as operational needs requirePosition SummaryThe Director of Operations is responsible for running the day-to-day operating engine of Omatochi. This role ensures that intake, client services, scheduling, support, and operational compliance functions work together smoothly, predictably, and at scale.The Director of Operations brings structure, accountability, and discipline to execution so teams can deliver high-quality services without reliance on constant escalation or heroics.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesOperational LeadershipLead daily operations across Intake & Authorizations, Client Services (CS and ECM), Scheduling, Support Desk, and operational compliance.Ensure work flows cleanly across teams with clear ownership and documented hand-offs.Identify and resolve operational bottlenecks that impact service quality or team capacity.Operating Rhythm and AccountabilityEstablish and run a weekly operating cadence with written reporting, KPI review, and follow-through.Hold managers accountable for performance, documentation, and execution against defined expectations.Ensure decisions are documented, tracked, and completed.Cross-Functional CoordinationPartner closely with Revenue Operations leadership to ensure operational readiness for billing and cash conversion, without owning revenue execution.Work with People Operations to signal staffing needs and operational capacity constraints.Coordinate with Clinical & Compliance leadership to support audit readiness and quality standards.Issue Resolution and Risk ManagementServe as the escalation point for cross-team operational issues.Proactively identify risks and surface them with data-backed recommendations.Maintain operational stability during periods of growth or change.RequirementsRequired QualificationsMinimum 8 years of operations leadership experienceExperience managing multi-team service delivery environmentsProven success implementing KPI-driven operating rhythmsStrong written communication and executive-level follow-throughPreferred QualificationsHealthcare, home health, ECM, or care management experienceExperience in regulated or compliance-sensitive environmentsFamiliarity with EHRs, ticketing systems, and HRIS platformsSkills and CompetenciesOperational leadership and execution disciplineSystems thinking and process optimizationData-informed decision makingStrong people leadership and emotional intelligenceCalm, decisive leadership under pressurePhysical and Work ConditionsCombination of office and remote workProlonged periods of sitting and computer useOccasional in-state travelReasonable accommodations provided in accordance with applicable lawBenefitsWorkweek, Compensation, and BenefitsThis is a full-time, salaried position.
