Systems Engineer

Our Smyrna based IT company is seeking a self-motivated Systems Engineer possessing excellent communication and organizational skills. The applicant must be able to work in a customer-facing, team-based dynamic work environment. Minimum of 5-6 years working with relevant technologies. Must have intermediate or advanced working knowledge of the following: Azure platform including Autopilot design and implementation. App deployment, MDM, MFA, Conditional access, etc. Active Directory roles and replication VMWare ESX and vCenter VEEAM backup technologies DAS – Direct attached storage, Shared storage using fiber or iSCSI Strong firewall configuration and implementation O365/M365 Tenant migration and design. CSP experience is a plus Consultative/Strategic methodologies Microsoft Server 2012R2 and greater OS, features and roles Group Policy modeling and deployment Advanced troubleshooting methodologies Design and implementation of the following VMWare products: ESXi 6.5 and greater, vCenter Switching and routing experience including VLAN, Layers 1-3 Cyber Security best practices including remediation Cloud migration strategies and experience Network Assessment experience Must have basic working knowledge of the following: Microsoft Hyper-V EDR/MDR/XDR SonicWall/Fortinet Powershell and/or other scripting VMWare Horizon Wireless technology VoIP, Telephony technologies and troubleshooting Microsoft Exchange server and admin Helpful Technologies: RMM and PSA products like ConnectWise and Automate Auvik/Domotz ITGlue, Auvik, Network monitoring tools Datacenter management Benefits Work strategically with clients to develop short and long-term IT budgets Weekly work from home rotation Health, Dental, Vision, Disability 401K After-hours pay Compensatory Time Flextime Phone stipend Career path/training budgets
