Intern, Web Developer Irvine, CA / Full-time Temporary Job Purpose Statement This Web Developer Internship is a paid internship that will support the "Digital Business & D2C" Department. This position works closely with other departments to design, develop and implement web-based solutions that will help improve overall consumer experience on our brand websites. Reporting Structure Report to Head of Digital Solutions Job Functions Manage and update website content using Content Management Systems (CMS) such as ContentStack, WordPress or similar platforms Develop and maintain web pages and user interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, and Next.js. Provide web design and development expertise in support of both new development tasks and ongoing maintenance of our brand websites Build responsive, accessible, and user-friendly web experiences across desktop and mobile devices. Help maintain code quality, and consistently write clean, modular, readable, testable and maintainable code Collaborate with marketing, design, and development teams to implement website updates and digital campaigns. Optimize websites for performance, SEO, GEO and accessibility. Identify problems, research solutions, and collaborate with the team to devise plans to solve these problems. Support analytics implementation, tag management, and website reporting Troubleshoot and resolve content-related and technical website issues. Perform all other duties assigned Job Qualification Requirements Specific Knowledge Proficient with some server-side development (ASP.NET, PHP or Java Servlets) Experience with a CMS (WordPress, ContentStack) Experience with React and Next.js frameworks Excellent understanding of OO programming Good Knowledge on front end web development skills (HTML / CSS/JavaScript) Advanced JavaScript skills including jQuery / AJAX Working knowledge of SQL and GitHub Understanding of web accessibility and SEO fundamentals. Familiarity with Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, or Google Tag Manager. Excellent communication skills (written, oral and presentation) Analytical mindset with a desire to constantly learn, improve and innovate Able to multi-task and prioritize projects as per the needs of the business.
