For instant consideration for this Welder job, Apply Now!Responsibilities of the Welder include:Weld steel subassemblies Create, prove out, and document manufacturing process with emphasis on weldingActive member on the launch team implementing the welding, painting, and assembly processesAccountable for every aspect of their workCheck measurements and dimensions of each piece that's being worked on with rulers, measuring tapes or squaresPlace each product component in its appropriate location as noted in the blueprints for proper alignment by using a hammer, pry bar, jack, wedge, or another toolMark spots to cut and use tools to manipulate steel, by cutting, hammering, bending, or grinding the workpieceReview blueprints, drawings, and other specification papers before starting work on a fabrication process and during the steps to ensure accurate completionManeuver fabrication machines, such as grinders, drill presses, brakes, rolls, and shears, to cut, bend, grind and adjust materialsMake templates for common work tasks when conducting repetitive motions for the fabrication process to ensure a set standard of work qualityCandidates must meet the following requirements to be considered for the Welder job:Versatile in performing different manufacturing tasks/duties.High school diploma or a GED equivalentAbility to comprehend blueprints, schematics, and work specificationsPhysical ability to lift at least 25 pounds or moreAWS B2.1/B21M Qualified welderExperience with MIG weldingExperience with Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, Kanban, and 5SAnalytical problem solver Able to work with minimal supervision and accomplish goals in a timely mannerFamiliar with ERP systems and concepts, SAP preferredMonday-Friday 7am-3:30pm$24-26hrClick on apply now for instant consideration for this Welder job in Imperial, PA.
