Job SpecificsOpportunity for a $5,000 Sign-On bonus!The RN Supervisor (TF) is responsible for ensuring high-quality nursing care and personal performance while overseeing department operations. Key duties include facilitating employee evaluations, promoting cost-effective and efficient care, and supporting staff and other departments in decision-making and policy development. The supervisor fosters team development through coaching and counseling, resolves conflicts involving staff, providers, patients, and families, and fulfills essential staff responsibilities. They ensure age-appropriate care, reliable outcomes without unnecessary delays, and effective use of information systems, along with any specific duties related to their department.Location: 744 S Webster Ave, Green Bay, WI 54301FTE Status: Full-time .9 FTE (36 hours per week)Work Schedule: Day/overnight rotation or straight overnights, every third weekendUnit/Department Description: Our Ortho/Neuro unit consists of 30 beds. Orthopedic surgery patients mainly undergo total joint replacements, including hips, knees, and shoulders. Typically, these patients are discharged on the day of surgery and are expected to transition to the surgical center eventually. Opportunities for cross-training are available for those interested in the surgical center. The neurosurgery patients undergo procedures involving the spine, neck, and brain, with common surgeries being fusions, laminectomies, decompressions, craniotomies, and tumor resections. Niquette at kayla.niquette@emplifyhealth.orgJob Description:The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible and accountable for providing quality professional nursing care to patients and their families and significant others adhering to the WI Nurse Practice Act, Administrative Code of the WI Board of Nursing, and/or appropriate nursing standards governing nursing in the state of practice, the ANA Nursing Scope and Standards of Practice, the ANA Code of Ethics for Nurses and Bellin Health Policies and Procedures. The responsibility includes providing a safe environment for patients, families, staff, and visitors and working collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary health care team to provide the best outcomes for the patient.
