Overview We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Dishwasher to join our kitchen team. As a Dishwasher, you play a vital role in supporting kitchen operations by ensuring all dishes, utensils, and work areas are clean and ready for service. Responsibilities Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans according to health and safety standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of dishwashing areas, kitchen floors, and trash/recycling stations. Assist with basic kitchen tasks such as organizing supplies and restocking clean items. Ensure proper handling and storage of clean dishes and equipment. Support kitchen staff by keeping a steady flow of clean tools during service. Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety guidelines. Qualifications Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required. Knowledge of proper sanitation and cleaning procedures is a plus. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Strong work ethic with attention to cleanliness and detail. Ability to work well as part of a team and take direction when needed. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends. Willingness to learn and help with additional kitchen tasks as needed. Experience Prior experience as a Dishwasher or in a similar support role in a restaurant is preferred. Experience working in a high-volume or open-kitchen environment is beneficial. Ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff while multitasking. Bilingual in Spanish and English (required) to communicate with a diverse team.
