Service Technician

Job Description Position OverviewESI Total Fuel Management is seeking an experienced Service Technician to support fuel system maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance operations for mission critical facilities and data centers.This role includes both shop and field work, including fuel system repairs, inspections, fuel deliveries, and preventative maintenance. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, customer-focused, and comfortable working independently in the field.ResponsibilitiesPerform maintenance, repairs, and upgrades on diesel fuel filtration equipmentTroubleshoot and identify issues related to fuel systems and fuel deliveriesPerform preventative maintenance and fuel system repairs in the fieldExecute diesel fuel sampling in aboveground and underground tanks while following safety protocolsRead and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings, specifications, and bills of materialsTest and calibrate parts and mechanical systemsComplete quality control checks and service documentation accuratelyMaintain a clean and organized company vehicle and work environmentCommunicate professionally with customers during on-site service visitsFollow all company and customer safety proceduresQualifications2 to 5 years of experience as a field technician or similar roleClean driving recordHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredTechnical school certification or associate degree preferredAbility to regularly lift 30-50 poundsExperience operating hand tools, power tools, and multimetersAbility to read and interpret engineering and mechanical drawingsStrong organizational skills and attention to detailComfortable working in industrial environments, including heights or confined spaces when necessaryTeam-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritiesBenefits401(k)401(k) matchingHealth insuranceDental insuranceVision insuranceLife insuranceFlexible spending accountPaid time offFlexible scheduleEmployee assistance programEmployee discountProfessional development assistanceReferral programRetirement planWork LocationIn person - Ashburn, VACompany DescriptionESI Total Fuel Management is a growing engineering, manufacturing, and services company supporting mission critical data centers and facilities across the U.S. and internationally.
