Requirements EIPA score of 3.5 or higher (no exceptions) Strong fluency in American Sign Language and English Experience in educational interpreting preferred Must provide verified EIPA score documentation Must specify preference for K–8 or 9–12 assignment References available upon request Full Time: 35 hours per week Pay Rate: $42/hour High School Position (Grades 9–12) Term: August 10th, 2026 – May 20th, 2027 Schedule: 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM Caseload: 12 students total (1–3 students per class interpreting support) Elementary/Middle School Positions (K–8) Term: August 17th, 2026 – May 28th, 2027 Schedule: 8:15 AM – 3:45 PM Caseload: 30 students total (1–5 students per class interpreting support) Competitive weekly pay School-based schedule with holidays and breaks aligned to district calendar Ongoing dedicated recruiter support Join a supportive special education team as a skilled Sign Language Interpreter in Gages Lake, IL for the 2026–2027 school year.
