General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. (GA-ASI), an affiliate of General Atomics, is a world leader in proven, reliable remotely piloted aircraft and tactical reconnaissance radars, as well as advanced high-resolution surveillance systems.
We have a unique and exciting opportunity for an experienced High-Frequency RF Sensor Systems engineer to work in the GA-ASI Mission Processing and Exploitation division on a family of programs. This RF Sensor System digital signal processing expert specializing in HF electromagnetic wave propagation and familiar with standard format In-Phase and Quadrature data will create and implement RF sensing modalities. An understanding of high-fidelity electromagnetic HF models is critical but the candidate's ability to take a model based RF Sensor architecture and work with cross functional engineering to realize a tactical system will be considered.
DUTIES AND RESPONSILITIES:
The well qualified candidate will have implemented several and have some expertise of all the following Radar processing techniques:
In-Phase and Quadrature Array Signal Processing
HF Waveform Design
Discrete Fourier Transform
Window Tapering Functions
IQ Channel Imbalance
Array Manifold Calculations
Radar Processing methods
Electrical beam and null steering methods
Sinusoidal Wave Propagation and Reflection
Range Migration Techniques
Clutter Cancellation
Along Track Interferometry
Displaced Phase Center Array Processing
Space Time Adaptive Processing
Constant False Alarm Rate Algorithms
Time Difference of Arrival (TDoA) Concepts
We recognize and appreciate the value and contributions of individuals with diverse backgrounds and experiences and welcome all qualified individuals to apply.
