Job Description:The Pleasant Hill School District is currently seeking applicants for the position of:K-2 Grade School Counselor for 2026-2027Qualifications: Minimum of a Master's' Degree plus proper certification in Counseling or temporary authorization certification.Length of Contract: 179 Day Calendar with 10 Extended DaysSalary: Based upon placement of certified salary schedule plus extended contract days.The successful candidate will be able to:Articulate an understanding of a comprehensive school counseling program.Facilitate effective whole group, small group, and individual counseling sessions.Demonstrate a strong background with responsive services.Partner and collaborate with families to meet individual student needs.Demonstrate experience working with at-risk students.Articulate a plan to work collaboratively with staff and outside agencies to support student learning.Demonstrate effective teaching experience at the elementary level.
