Responsibilities Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits, ensuring consistency and quality. Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to understand their preferences and recommend drinks or food pairings. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS accurately to process cash transactions, credit card payments, and tabs efficiently. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards and health regulations. Manage bar inventory by monitoring stock levels, restocking supplies, and assisting with beverage recipe development to keep offerings fresh and innovative. Handle cash handling responsibilities accurately while processing payments swiftly and securely. Collaborate with restaurant staff to ensure seamless service during busy hours or special events like banquets or catering functions. Demonstrate excellent time management skills to balance multiple orders while maintaining high-quality service standards. Uphold responsible alcohol service policies by checking IDs and monitoring guest consumption to ensure safety. Experience Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining or high-volume settings; experience in the hospitality industry is highly valued. Extensive knowledge of cocktail mixing techniques, beverage recipe development, wine varieties, spirits, craft beers, and brewing processes. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing transactions efficiently. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle diverse situations professionally. Experience in food handling, food safety practices, and basic math skills for accurate cash handling and retail math calculations. Previous roles involving food service or restaurant experience that demonstrate excellent serving skills and hospitality industry knowledge. Ability to manage bar operations effectively including bar management tasks during shifts or events like banquets or catering functions. Knowledge of food safety standards combined with basic math proficiency ensures smooth operation during busy periods.
