Overview In this role you act as the data architect for the electronics manufacturing facility, turning fragmented data into actionable insights. You will bridge prototyping and production by building automated reporting and data pipelines. Your work supports engineers and NPI teams to improve manufacturability and yield. You’ll combine hands-on data gathering today with scripting to automate tomorrow, enabling data-driven decisions that shape product quality at scale. ResponsibilitiesData Acquisition from SMT lines, AOI, AXI, and functional test fixtures; collaborate with vendors to unlock data or export reportsDevelop and maintain reports for FPY, Parametric Test Trends, and Process Capability (Cpk); visualize distributions to detect driftDesign and implement Python scripts or BI tools to automate reporting and standardize formats across product linesPresent findings to Engineering and NPI teams to drive design changes that improve manufacturability Key requirementsAdvanced Python (Pandas, NumPy, OpenPyXL) to parse data from CSV, XML, JSON, TXTSQL querying to extract data from MES or local SQL ExpressExperience converting manual copy-paste processes into automated pipelinesExperience exporting data logs from SMT, AOI, and Functional Test through proprietary machine softwareFamiliarity with FPY, RTY, Cp, and Cpk; ability to perform parametric analysis on continuous data2+ years in a manufacturing environment (Electronics preferred); degree in Engineering, Data Science, or related technical fieldVendor liaison skills to communicate data requirements to equipment manufacturersCross-functional collaborationClear communication with engineering teamsAnalytical mindset with attention to detailPython (Pandas, NumPy, OpenPyXL)SQL (MES or SQL Express)Data parsing from CSV/XML/JSON/TXT
