Junior Data Scientist

We're working with a division of an award-winning economic development corporation that supports a Federal Agency's enterprise data management and analytics program, providing critical IT solutions and professional services to various U.S. Government customers.The Role Develop, train, and evaluate custom machine learning and AI models, including supervised and unsupervised approaches Apply natural language processing (NLP) techniques to extract, enrich, and analyze unstructured data Improve and expand existing entity extraction processes Evaluate enterprise data holdings and develop models and techniques to enrich data Manipulate, cleanse, and prepare structured and unstructured data for model development and analysis Build data visualizations that communicate analytic findings to technical and non-technical stakeholdersWhat You'll Need 2+ years of experience with an analytical or statistical language (e.g., Python, R, SQL) Exposure to machine learning concepts, including model training and evaluation Experience working with structured and unstructured data Familiarity with data visualization tools Ability to work collaboratively in an Agile development environment Active secret security clearanceWhat's On Offer Opportunity to grow within a high-impact federal mission environment Work with cutting-edge machine learning and AI technologies Collaborative Agile delivery teamApply via Haystack today!
