We pride ourselves on enabling children to reach their full potential through a collaborative approach that involves families and caregivers.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site position for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) located in Farmington, NM. The COTA will support licensed occupational therapists in delivering therapeutic services to pediatric clients. Responsibilities include assisting with treatment sessions, documenting patient progress, developing and executing individualized care plans, and collaborating with families and caregivers to ensure success. This role emphasizes active participation in rehabilitation and patient care in both clinic and home-based settings.QualificationsProficiency in Occupational Therapy and Rehabilitation practicesHands-on experience in Patient Care and implementing individualized care plansExpertise in Program Development, including therapy exercises and activities tailored to childrenExperience in Home Care to support therapy programs in family settingsValid Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) licenseStrong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with children, families, and team membersCommitment to professional growth and evidence-based practicesPrevious experience in pediatric therapy is a plus
