Take your next step to an altogether life-changing career.Learn about the Danaher Business System (https://www.danaher.com/how-we-work/danaher-business-system) which makes everything possible.The Scientist I will contribute to the design, execution, and analysis of experiments that support research & development of new membranes to meet customer application needs.This role will support the development of new membrane designs, enhance existing processes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies.This position reports to the Director, R&D and is part of the Filtration R&D team located in Pensacola, FL and will be an on-site role.What you will do:+ Design and execute experiments to support development of new membranes, materials, metrology, and/or processes under the guidance of senior scientists.+ Support pilot and full-scale test runs by preparing formulations, operating equipment, and collecting/analyzing data.+ Collect, analyze and interpret data using standard statistical and data analysis software.+ Clearly document and communicate results through reports or presentations to project team.Who you are:+ Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Polymer Science, Chemical Engineering or related discipline.+ 1 yr + experience in a research or laboratory setting (academic, internship, or industrial).+ Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical results to audiences with diverse backgrounds.+ The desire and ability to thrive in an interdisciplinary, fast-paced team environment with adaptability and openness to learning.Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: if applicable for role
