Position: Rooftop ManagerLocation: Gansevoort Meatpacking – Rooftop Bar & LoungeCompensation: $85,000 – $90,000 annuallyAbout Us:Located in the heart of the Meatpacking District, Gansevoort’s Rooftop Bar & Lounge is one of New York City’s premier nightlife and hospitality destinations, known for elevated service, vibrant energy, and luxury guest experiences. We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Rooftop Manager to lead operations in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.Position Summary:The Rooftop Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the rooftop venue, ensuring exceptional guest service, operational efficiency, team leadership, and financial performance. This role will manage front-of-house operations, maintain luxury hospitality standards, and lead teams through high-volume evening and nightlife service.Key Responsibilities:Oversee all rooftop operations, including bar, lounge, and guest experienceLead, train, coach, and develop front-of-house teamsEnsure service standards align with Gansevoort Core Values and Coyle StandardsManage staffing levels, scheduling, labor costs, and operational flowMonitor guest satisfaction and promptly resolve service concernsPartner with culinary, beverage, security, and hotel leadership teamsMaintain cleanliness, safety, and compliance with DOH and SLA standardsSupport special events, activations, and VIP experiencesDrive a culture of accountability, professionalism, and hospitality excellenceQualifications:Minimum 3–5 years of management experience in upscale hospitality, nightlife, or high-volume venuesStrong leadership and team development skillsExperience managing busy bar/lounge operations preferredExcellent communication and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to remain calm and organized in a fast-paced environmentFlexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidaysNYC Food Handler’s Certificate and alcohol service knowledge preferredWhat We Offer:Competitive salaryOpportunity to lead one of NYC’s most recognized rooftop venuesGrowth opportunities within Gansevoort Hotel GroupDynamic and energetic work environment
