Title: Senior Engineer – Blockchain Integration Platforms

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineer – Blockchain Integration Platforms to build, integrate, and enhance the blockchain infrastructure that powers our digital asset custody and tokenization platforms. This is a hands-on engineering role focused on Layer 1 (L1) blockchain integration, blockchain infrastructure services, wallet engineering, and custody-related blockchain workflows. The ideal candidate will work closely with Crypto Custody Lead Engineers, Crypto Security Engineers, and platform engineering teams to ensure blockchain interactions are secure, scalable, resilient, observable, and production-ready. This role operates at the intersection of blockchain protocol engineering and institutional-grade custody systems. Key Responsibilities1. Layer 1 Blockchain Integration Integrate enterprise systems with Layer 1 blockchain networks such as Ethereum and other enterprise-relevant blockchain protocols. Evaluate, design, and extend blockchain capabilities to meet custody, scalability, and resiliency requirements. Develop a deep understanding of blockchain mechanics including: Transaction lifecycle Network finality Forks and chain reorganizations (Reorgs) Event propagation and consensus mechanisms Ensure blockchain integrations remain reliable under high-volume and stress conditions. Support blockchain interoperability and network connectivity solutions.2. Blockchain Infrastructure DevelopmentDesign, build, and maintain core blockchain infrastructure components, including: Blockchain Indexers Event Processing Services Block Explorers Chain Data APIs and Services Interoperability and Cross-Chain Integration Components Blockchain Monitoring and Observability Platforms
Responsibilities include:
- Building accurate, performant, and auditable blockchain data pipelines.
- Enhancing platform observability, monitoring, and incident management capabilities.
- Supporting production troubleshooting and operational excellence initiatives.3. Wallet Architecture & DevelopmentDesign and develop blockchain-facing wallet services.
- Build transaction creation, signing, validation, and submission workflows.
- Integrate with key management solutions including:
- MPC (Multi-Party Computation)HSM (Hardware Security Modules)
- Secure Signing Services
- Ensure secure separation between:
- Protocol Logic
- Security Controls
- Business Rules
- Collaborate with custody and security teams to validate end-to-end transaction workflows.4. Custody-Focused Blockchain Workflows
- Develop and support custody-related blockchain operations including:
- On-chain transaction execution
- Event monitoring and reconciliation
- Chain-specific failure handling and recovery mechanisms
- Define secure interaction models with smart contracts and token standards.
- Ensure blockchain workflows comply with custody governance, approval requirements, and risk controls.
- Improve operational reliability and transaction processing accuracy.5. Engineering Excellence & AI-Augmented Development
- Apply modern software engineering principles to develop reliable, scalable, and maintainable services.
- Leverage GenAI and Agentic AI tools to accelerate:
- Protocol analysis
- Software development
- Automated testing
- Documentation generation
- Knowledge sharing
- Maintain engineering rigor while balancing speed, quality, security, and compliance.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Hands-on experience building or integrating blockchain or distributed ledger technologies.
- Strong understanding of Layer 1 blockchain protocols and transaction lifecycles.
- Experience designing and developing backend services, APIs, and infrastructure platforms.
- Strong programming expertise in one or more of the following:
- PythonNode.jsGoJavaRustExperience working in distributed, asynchronous, and event-driven architectures.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across platform, custody, and security teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with blockchain indexers, explorers, and chain analytics platforms.
- Knowledge of wallet architecture and blockchain transaction signing workflows.
- Familiarity with digital asset custody platforms and security-sensitive financial systems.
- Experience with:
- IPFS (InterPlanetary File System)
- Ripple/XRP Ledger
- Laravel Framework
- Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills in distributed environments.
- Experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools and workflows.
- Knowledge of smart contract interactions and token standards.
