Title: Senior Engineer – Blockchain Integration PlatformsTerm: 6 Months C2H Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid)Job Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineer – Blockchain Integration Platforms to build, integrate, and enhance the blockchain infrastructure that powers our digital asset custody and tokenization platforms. This is a hands-on engineering role focused on Layer 1 (L1) blockchain integration, blockchain infrastructure services, wallet engineering, and custody-related blockchain workflows.The ideal candidate will work closely with Crypto Custody Lead Engineers, Crypto Security Engineers, and platform engineering teams to ensure blockchain interactions are secure, scalable, resilient, observable, and production-ready. This role operates at the intersection of blockchain protocol engineering and institutional-grade custody systems.Key Responsibilities1. Layer 1 Blockchain IntegrationIntegrate enterprise systems with Layer 1 blockchain networks such as Ethereum and other enterprise-relevant blockchain protocols.Evaluate, design, and extend blockchain capabilities to meet custody, scalability, and resiliency requirements.Develop a deep understanding of blockchain mechanics including:Transaction lifecycleNetwork finalityForks and chain reorganizations (Reorgs)Event propagation and consensus mechanismsEnsure blockchain integrations remain reliable under high-volume and stress conditions.Support blockchain interoperability and network connectivity solutions.2. Blockchain Infrastructure DevelopmentDesign, build, and maintain core blockchain infrastructure components, including:Blockchain IndexersEvent Processing ServicesBlock ExplorersChain Data APIs and ServicesInteroperability and Cross-Chain Integration ComponentsBlockchain Monitoring and Observability PlatformsResponsibilities include:Building accurate, performant, and auditable blockchain data pipelines.Enhancing platform observability, monitoring, and incident management capabilities.Supporting production troubleshooting and operational excellence initiatives.3. Wallet Architecture & DevelopmentDesign and develop blockchain-facing wallet services.Build transaction creation, signing, validation, and submission workflows.Integrate with key management solutions including:MPC (Multi-Party Computation)HSM (Hardware Security Modules)Secure Signing ServicesEnsure secure separation between:Protocol LogicSecurity ControlsBusiness RulesCollaborate with custody and security teams to validate end-to-end transaction workflows.4. Custody-Focused Blockchain WorkflowsDevelop and support custody-related blockchain operations including:On-chain transaction executionEvent monitoring and reconciliationChain-specific failure handling and recovery mechanismsDefine secure interaction models with smart contracts and token standards.Ensure blockchain workflows comply with custody governance, approval requirements, and risk controls.Improve operational reliability and transaction processing accuracy.5.
