It’s a fast-growing product line with strong market demand.About This Role and What Sets It Apart This is a hands-on, field-based role where you’ll bring together sales support and field operations to support our customers and ensure every system is implemented correctly and meets performance expectations. You’ll work directly with customers to solve technical challenges, support new sales, and see projects through from proposed solution to successful deployment.You will:Support sales to provide technical expertise with customers Lead implementation from start to finish Ensure successful installations and system performanceTrain customers and troubleshoot issues in the field What sets this role apart:Ground-floor opportunity with a fast-growing product line Clear path to senior technical or sales rolesKey Responsibilities in Conjunction with Sales RepsProvide technical credibility and answer system questionsHelp prepare technical proposals and configurations for customer’s setupConduct product demonstrations showing how our solutions will work for themContribute technical accuracy and implementation scoping to RFP/RFQsExplain how Merit Monitoring compares to competitor productsKey Field Implementation & Customer Support Responsibilities  Site assessments, pre-installation planning, system commissioning, and post-install validationInstall, configure, and verify monitoring systems operate at customer sitesTrain customers on system use and basic troubleshootingTechnical point of contact for implementation projectsSupport customers once a site is live and stable Key Responsibilities within Distributor & Partner EngagementTraining on installation procedures, product features, and best practicesSupport distributor-led customer demonstrationsCoordinate on project specs, timelines, and implementation logisticsYou’re a Fit If You: Can manage priorities and deliver outcomes independentlyHave 2+ years working with control systems, telemetry, SCADA, instrumentation, or automation equipmentUnderstand wiring, sensors, communications protocols, and basic networkingAre comfortable working around mechanical and industrial equipmentCan travel 30–50%Communicate clearly with operators and decision-makersLike figuring out why something isn’t working and fixing itHave a valid driver’s license and clean driving recordNice To Have Experience/Education: Water/wastewater operations, lift stations, or municipal infrastructureCellular/radio telemetry, IoT sensors, or cloud-based monitoring platformsCustomer-facing field service, application support, or technical sales support roleAssociate’s degree/technical certification/equivalent experience in Instrumentation, Electrical Technology, Industrial Automation, or related fieldWhat We OfferBase salary: $60,000-$65,000 Performance incentives: $10,000-$20,000 (based on sales + implementation success)Mileage reimbursementBenefits: Health, dental, vision, life, long and short term disability, 401k
