This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of analytics, strategy, and storytelling - leveraging large-scale consumer and transactional data to uncover insights, influence business decisions, and drive performance across payment programs.The ideal candidate is both technically strong and business-minded, with advanced SQL and visualization skills, a passion for solving complex business problems, and the ability to communicate insights clearly to stakeholders across the organization.This is a high-impact consulting opportunity within a fast-paced retail and e-commerce environment where analytics directly influence customer experience, promotional strategy, and business growth.What You'll DoPayment Program Analytics & Performance ReportingSupport Credit Card, Gift Card, and Alternative Payment programs through strategic analytics and reportingMaintain monthly and quarterly KPI reporting to track ongoing business performance and identify trendsAnalyze consumer and transactional data to uncover actionable insights related to payment behavior and business performanceMonitor program health, performance metrics, and customer engagement trends Data Analysis & Strategic InsightsDive deep into complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, risks, and growth opportunitiesConduct deep-dive analyses to support strategic business initiatives and leadership decision-makingTranslate complex analytics into clear, concise business recommendationsCreate impactful data visualizations, dashboards, and presentations for stakeholders at all levels Dashboard Development & Data VisualizationDevelop, maintain, and optimize Tableau dashboards related to payments performance and promotional trackingBlend data from multiple sources to answer multi-dimensional business questionsEnsure reporting accuracy, usability, and scalability across analytics tools and dashboards Promotional & Forecast AnalysisRun forecasting and post-analysis for payments-related promotions and campaignsConduct post-promo performance evaluations to measure effectiveness and ROIIdentify opportunities to optimize promotional strategies and improve customer engagement Cross-Functional Collaboration & Data IntegrityPartner closely with cross-functional teams including Finance, Payments, Marketing, Product, and ITCollaborate with PDM and IT teams to ensure data integrity and reporting accuracyHelp explain drivers of business performance and influence strategic planning initiativesQualificationsBachelor's degree in Statistics, Data Science, Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field4-7 years of experience in data analytics, business analytics, or similar analytical rolesExperience within retail, e-commerce, payments, loyalty, or consumer-focused industries strongly preferredAdvanced SQL programming skills with experience working across large, complex datasetsStrong experience with Tableau, Domo, or similar BI/data visualization toolsExperience leveraging big data technologies such as Azure or Hadoop preferredAdvanced Excel and PowerPoint skillsStrong understanding of business performance metrics and KPI reportingProven ability to synthesize data into actionable business insights and executive-ready storytellingExcellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across all levelsAbility to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environmentStrong attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem-solving skillsWhy This Role Stands OutHigh-visibility analytics role supporting a rapidly growing payments businessOpportunity to influence strategy through data-driven insightsExposure to large-scale retail and e-commerce consumer dataCollaborative, cross-functional environment with strong executive visibilityBlend of technical analytics, business strategy, and storytellingFast-paced, innovative environment with strong growth potentialThe target hiring compensation range for this role is 66.00 - 73.33/hr Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.About Aquent Talent:Aquent Talent connects the best talent in marketing, creative, and design with the world's biggest brands.Our eligible talent get access to amazing benefits like subsidized health, vision, and dental plans, paid sick leave, and retirement plans with a match.
