Commercial Relationship Manager III-Food, Beverage & AgribusinessThe Commercial Banking team actively calls on businesses that typically have annual revenue between $50MM and $500MM. The team includes relationship managers, treasury management officers and others that provide a suite of products and services that serve companies of this size. The objective of the group is earn the title of trusted advisor and help these companies grow and prosper in our community.This is a hybrid role which is responsible for developing new commercial business, while maintaining a portfolio. While loan product is important, cross selling with current and prospective clients is a key element of this role. The Commercial Relationship Manager serves as a conduit for all product lines and matches client needs with appropriate products.As the Relationship Manager you will be responsible for increasing the Bank's profitability by cultivating new commercial relationships and the expansion/retention of existing relationships. In this role you must utilize your credit acumen and be knowledgeable in non-credit products such as treasury management, virtual card, trust, etc. Successful candidates for this role will be resilient, agile, accountable and driven.How you'll spend your time:Building your own commercial loan portfolio by prospecting for new Food, Beverage & Agribusiness opportunitiesGrowing revenue as directed by senior management by successfully prospecting new business and making appropriate referralsMaintaining a portfolio by calling on customers to expand existing business, ensure excellent client relations & proper servicing of account(s)Developing a sound understanding of the industry types served and the key players within these industriesManaging loan & portfolio credit qualityNegotiating credit arrangements and preparing credit memoranda and supporting documentation for presentation to the loan committeeCollaborate with commercial clients to better understand their business and financial needsAnalyze the business to qualify clients for bank products and servicesMay mentor less experienced Commercial Banking AssociatesWe're excited to talk to you if you have:5+ years of sales experience with 2+ years in Commercial Bank/Food, Beverage & Agribusiness experienceA bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experienceCuriosity about how companies work and the willingness to help them grow and remain successfulDemonstrated knowledge of credit, bank products, services, underwriting and bank operationsCompensation Range:$120,750.00 - $257,250.00The posted compensation range on this listing represents UMB's standard for this role, but the actual compensation may vary by geographic location, experience level, and other job-related factors. In addition, this range does not encompass the full earning potential for this role.
