Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Childcare Assistant located in Greene, ME. The Childcare Assistant will support the daily activities and well-being of children in a safe and nurturing environment. Responsibilities include assisting with meal routines while ensuring proper hygiene practices, engaging children in creative and educational activities, monitoring their safety, and effectively communicating with children, parents, and team members. Qualifications Strong listening and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with children, families, and team membersKnowledge of proper hygiene and cleanliness standards, especially in childcare and meal preparationCreativity skills to support engaging and educational activities for childrenExperience or demonstrated ability in providing attentive and compassionate childcarePatience, reliability, and a genuine passion for working with childrenAbility to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environmentHigh school diploma or equivalent; education in early childhood development is a plusExperience in a childcare setting is preferred but not required
