Sales Associate - Hard Rock Store

Retail ClerkThe Retail Clerk is responsible for marketing Retail merchandise to Guests, stocking the Retail area, and performing sales transactions.Essential duties include, but are not limited to:Markets Retail merchandise to GuestsStock and re-stock the Retail area to ensure an adequate inventory of all goodsPerform cash and/or credit transactions with GuestsMaintains current knowledge of rules, regulations, policies, and procedures-including precheck and cashiering proceduresEnsures Guest satisfaction with effective communication, customer assistance, direction, and information provided within company policies and guidelinesPromotes positive public/employee relations at all timesMaintains a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibilityPerforms all other related and compatible duties as assignedQualifications:High School diploma, GED, or equivalent requiredCashiering/money handling experience in making accurate change in a fast-paced environment or an equivalent combination of education and/or experienceMust possess ability to maintain visual attention and mental concentration for significant periods of timeMust possess order-entry skillsMust possess ability to become proficient to operate computer systems utilized and 10-key adding machines.Windows based software proficiency preferredExtensive cashiering experience preferredMust have exceptional guest service skillsMust be detail orientedMust possess basic math skillsMust be able to communicate effectively with guests and other team membersMust be able to work nights, weekends, and holidaysWork Environment:Duties and responsibilities are typically performed a store setting, which can be faced-paced. Also, there may be times where you will need to be on the Casino Floor or pass through this area. On the Casino Floor, you may be exposed to casino-related environmental factors including, but not limited to, second hand smoke and excessive noise.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
