Human Resources Generalist

As the Temporary HR Generalist, you will maintain essential HR functions and provide leadership continuity during a scheduled leave of absence. You will serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations, recruitment, payroll, and global compliance for our 60-person organization.ResponsibilitiesOversee all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, and offboarding.Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures and legal Responsibilities.Facilitate phone screens, interview scheduling with hiring managers and ensure a smooth, timely hiring process.Partner with IT and building contacts to ensure that equipment and office space is ready for any new hires.Execute timely payroll processing and conduct regular audits of benefit enrollments to ensure correct coverage and data integrity.Provide high-level guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related matters, including policies, benefits, and performance improvement.Ensure accurate and timely HR reporting and maintain the integrity of all data within the HRIS.Act as the primary liaison for external vendors, such as payroll providers, benefits administrators, and legal counsel.QualificationsBachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business, Human Resources, or related area5+ years' of experience working in Human Resources2+ years of recruiting experience, preferably in financial services or a related industry.Experience managing HR functions remotely and working with international teams (Argentina/South America) is a plus.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a data-driven mindset.Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.Proficient in HRIS systems and other HR-related software.Compensation & BenefitsType: Temporary, Hourly (Non-Exempt) 20-30 hours a week.Due to the temporary and part-time nature of this assignment, this position is not eligible for company-sponsored benefits, including medical insurance or Paid Time Off (PTO).
