CDL Driver - Second ShiftWe are looking for a CDL A driver for our second shift. Applicants must have a valid CDL, 3 years’ experience, and a clean driving record. Most loads are within a 150-mile radius of our yard in Bluffton, IN. W2 wages, paid weekly. Subsidy Pay – Because this is a strategic position, we offer subsidy pay. What that means is that if your shift is slow, you will still have gross income that week. This is an optional program and is only offered to second-shift drivers. It isn’t uncommon for our drivers to work max legal hours.Compensation$90,000 yearly averageResponsibilitiesSecond shift starts at 3 PM most days.Show up on time, dress professionally, drive safely, monitor your equipment for issues, and keep track of and submit paperwork.Second Shift DriverThe right person - enjoys the relative solitude of working the second shift.The right person - isn’t afraid to make a phone call if they have a question.The right person - has good mechanical aptitude.Your Commitment - Ask questions and think on your feet so you get to know the company, our equipment, processes, and customers so you can make good decisions during the second shift.Our Commitment - While you are learning you will have ready access to our operations manager and our owner(who is an experienced driver) 24 hours a day to get your questions answered and keep things running efficiently.Qualifications3 years of CDL Class A driving experience and a clean driving record.53' Dry Van experience.Experience driving a manual transmission.Meet all DOT/FMCSA requirements.You need the ability to lift a minimum of 25 pounds for this role.Helpful / PreferredMechanical skills – someone who can help problem solve and do minor repairs, and preventative maintenance.Drivers that are willing to work either shift for one or a few weeks as needed.About CompanyWe have been in business for 18 years, we service our customers well, pay our drivers well, and maintain our equipment well.
