Travel RN - Psychiatric

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Psychiatric RN for a Behavioral Health position requiring prior charge RN experience, Epic proficiency, and STARR certification.Job Details• Behavioral Health unit within a hospital setting,• Patient population includes adolescents, adults, and pediatrics,• Patient diagnoses include major depressive disorder (MDD), bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, and substance abuse,• Patient ratio is 1:6,• Epic EMR experience is mandatory,• Schedule is three 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM),• Every other weekend rotation required,• Holiday coverage required as needed,• Floating between all health system facilities may be required,Job Requirements• Active NC or compact RN license required,• Current BLS certification required,• STARR certification required,• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required,• Previous charge RN experience required,• Epic EMR experience is mandatory,• Driver's license required for consideration,• Two professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration,Additional Information• Provide psychiatric nursing care to a mixed-age behavioral health population,• All RNs must pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam during compliance - two attempts are allowed; study materials will not be provided by the facility, so candidates should prepare in advance,• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate,• First-time travelers are welcome to apply,
