Opportunity: RN - Med Surg NeuroJob Details: • Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM • Choose between 3x12 or 4x12 shift options with 36 or 48 hour contracts available • Work weekdays with every other weekend required • 36 hours guaranteed per week • Patient ratio of 1:4-5 • Float within scope to meet facility needs • 2 years of RN experience required • BLS certification required (American Heart Association) • WV or Compact RN license required (pending license acceptable) • First-time travelers accepted • 16-hour orientation held every other Thursday • Must complete non-billable modules (2-6 hours) prior to start • Open to accommodating blocked schedule requests • One pre-approved time off allowed • Must live greater than 100 miles from facility (75-99 miles considered case-by-case) • Scrub color: Royal Blue or White • Charting system: Cerner • Free parking for travelers • Care for adult patients with CVA, TBI, epidural and subdural hematoma, seizure disorders, spinal cord injuries, and epilepsy monitoring • Work with telemetry and remote monitoring systems • Handle lumbar drains and IV drips including heparinFacility: This healthcare facility is a Level 1 Trauma Center and major teaching hospital with 855 total staffed beds.
