IT Business AnalystAmalgamated Sugar Company is seeking an IT Business Analyst to serve as a trusted partner between business stakeholders and Information Technology. This role translates business needs into effective technology solutions, supports system enhancements, ensures successful adoption, and drives continuous improvement across enterprise systems (JDE, PRISM, RCS, LEGACY, and more). The ideal candidate will document business capabilities, lead Master Data Management (MDM) best practices, explore emerging technologies through rapid prototyping, leverage data & analytics for process optimization, and strengthen the IT-business relationship. Job Type: Full-time Company: Amalgamated Sugar Company Equal Opportunity Employer Primary Responsibilities: Document and maintain Business Capability Maps linking capabilities to people, processes, data, and technologies Lead Master Data Management (MDM) strategy and best practices for Amalgamated Sugar Maintain deep knowledge of enterprise systems including JDE (JD Edwards), PRISM, RCS, LEGACY, and related platforms Partner with Enterprise Architecture on technology selection, solution design, and long-term supportability Explore new technologies and build fail-fast / succeed-fast prototypes Use data and analytics to identify, recommend, and implement continuous process improvements and better decision-making Act as primary liaison between business units and IT, proactively resolving misalignment and enhancing IT's reputation Communicate clearly and effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders Collaborate with PMO, business, and technical teams to manage intake, prioritization, business case development, and delivery of system changes, enhancements, and integrations Work with vendors to evaluate and implement the most effective solutions Elicit, analyze, and document business and functional requirements, including current-state and future-state process flows Coordinate and execute system testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Support go-live implementation and transition to steady-state operations Create user documentation and deliver end-user training Provide guidance and knowledge sharing to team members Perform other duties as assigned Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field (advanced degree preferred) Minimum 23 years of experience working with enterprise systems, software packages, and business analysis Or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Considerable knowledge of current enterprise systems (JDE, PRISM, RCS, LEGACY) and standard IT practices Strong ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously Proven skill in training users on software applications Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and requirements-gathering abilities Clear written and verbal communication across technical and business audiences Collaborative mindset with strong interpersonal skills Preferred Qualifications: Certification in Business Analysis (CBAP, CCBA, or equivalent) Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) or PMI-PMP Disciplined Agile Scrum Master (DASM) or similar agile certification Hands-on experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other data visualization tools Working knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL) Why Join Amalgamated Sugar?
