A company is looking for a Healthcare Revenue Cycle Credit Balance Specialist. Key Responsibilities Review and analyze accounts with credit balances to determine the root cause Initiate and process refund requests to patients and insurance companies Coordinate with payers and internal teams to resolve discrepancies Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; associate's degree preferred Minimum of 2 years of experience in healthcare billing or payment posting Knowledge of remittance processing and familiarity with medical billing systems preferred Basic knowledge of payer types such as Medicare and Medicaid Proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable with spreadsheets
