Job Overview LITEON's Engineer team in Plano, Texas is currently seeking an experienced Process Engineer. The PE is responsible for monitoring and analysing process data, identifying trends and proposing solutions for process improvement continuosly, performing process capability studies, statistical analysis and data-driven decision-making to achieve operational excellence and meet production targets. Responsibilities including but not limited to Process Design and Optimization: Create and improve manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency and reduce waste. Technical Support: Provide technical expertise to troubleshoot and resolve process-related issues that impact quality, cost, and throughput. Data Analysis: Collect and analyze process data to identify trends and make data-driven decisions. Implement Process Controls: Utilize control systems to monitor and adjust processes in real-time, ensuring optimal operating conditions. Resource Management: Evaluate and manage the resources needed for various processes, including raw materials, manpower, and time. Quality Assurance: Work with quality control teams to ensure the final product meets set specifications. Risk Assessment: Conduct safety reviews and risk assessments to ensure industry regulations and standards compliance. Process Documentation: Create, revise, and maintain detailed process documentation for training and compliance purposes. Project Management: Oversee project timelines, budgets, and deliverables. Interdepartmental Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams like R&D, Production, and Quality Control for integrated project success. Process Simulation: Use simulation software to model process scenarios for analysis and optimization. Cost Analysis: Perform economic evaluations of new or existing processes to determine the feasibility or cost-saving potential. Training and Development: Train staff and team members on new process changes, tools, or methodologies. Technology Integration: Evaluate and integrate new technologies or systems to enhance process efficiency. Vendor Negotiation and Management: Collaborate with suppliers to procure required materials or services at optimized costs. Qualifications Bachelor's degree or above in the field of engineering. 5 + years working experience in electronics manufacturing, experiences in EV charger and BBU/PSU products are a plus. Proficient in electronics manufacturing process and having hands-on experiences in manufacturing management system. Experience applying lean manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies to optimize existing processes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Demonstrable ability in diagnosing and resolving complex process-related issues that impact quality, cost, and efficiency. Demonstrated experience in product coordination, yield improvement, and reducing test time. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach in a lab environment. Excellent verbal and written communication, attention to detail, and project management capabilities. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting. Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments, prioritize tasks effectively, and maintain attention to detail and quality. Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin is a plus, aligned with business needs. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, and others, ensuring smooth communication and task completion.
