They're hiring a Territory Sales Representative to own their Birmingham territory, covering Alabama and Mississippi from Coleman in the north down through Montgomery.This is a service-led sales role. You'll spend your time helping industrial customers stay safe, compliant, and running through inspections, maintenance agreements, and repair quotes. Equipment and crane sales come too, but the heart of the work is building real relationships and selling the value of a service team that genuinely is among the best in the industry.What you'll doOwn a defined territory across Alabama and Mississippi from a home base in the Birmingham metroSpend Tuesday through Thursday in the field with customers, prospects, and warm leadsBookend the week with office or remote work on Mondays and Fridays for quoting, follow-up, and CRMUse a modern CRM to target inspections coming due, close out open quotes, and develop new accountsQuote OSHA-mandated annual and periodic inspections, repairs, maintenance agreements, and capital equipmentRun a consultative, solutions-based sales process that wins on value, not priceAim for three productive customer visits a day and convert them into quoted opportunities by FridayWhat we're looking for2+ years of sales experience, ideally in overhead cranes, material handling, forklifts, or heavy industrial equipmentComfort with CRM software (NetSuite or Oracle experience is a major plus)Strong time management and the discipline to run your own weekValid driver's license and a willingness to pass a drug screenOSHA-10 certification preferred (training available if you don't have it)Open to completing customer-specific safety orientations as neededWhat you'll earnBase salary of $70,000 to $90,000 depending on experienceMonthly commission against quota, with realistic OTE of $130K to $140KTop performers across the company are clearing $180K+$800 monthly car allowance plus fuel cardMileage reimbursement at the IRS rate during ramp-upFull benefits: health, dental, vision, and 401(k)3 to 4 weeks of one-on-one onboarding with the regional sales leaderWhy this roleOur client has been around for nearly a century because they put salespeople in a position to win.
