HGTC offers three convenient campus locations in South Carolina, including Myrtle Beach, Conway and Georgetown.Horry-Georgetown Technical College seeks a full-time Associate Professor of Massage Therapy. The successful candidate will be required to teach a combination of online, hybrid, and face-to-face classes at any Horry-Georgetown Technical College campus location. The successful candidate will report to the Personal Services Academic Chair and will be responsible for the following duties (this list is not intended to be exhaustive):Instructional planning, teaching, and learning; student recruitment, retention and advisingDeveloping program syllabi, goals, and objectivesEvaluating students' progress in attaining goals and objectivesAssessing Massage Therapy students' learning objectivesPreparing and maintaining all required documentation and administrative reportsWork with the Personal Services program advisory board to maintain and enhance the curriculum and assess program outcomesProviding academic advisement to studentsParticipating in academic term registrationsMeeting with students, staff members, and other educators to discuss students' instructional programs and other issues impacting the progress of studentsMaintaining knowledge of current trends and developments in the field by attending staff development training, workshops, seminars, and conferencesPlease note: class schedules may require teaching on multiple campuses each day or evening classes.Advertised Salary:Salary is commensurate with education and work experience.
