Business Analyst Location: Remote Duration: 06 Months Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support two of the highest-priority programs.This role is critical in translating business needs into clear, actionable requirements; improving end-to-end processes; and ensuring that proposed solutions deliver measurable value.The Business Analyst will work closely with leaders, product owners, program managers, and cross-functional stakeholders to define problems, shape solutions, and support execution across complex, global initiatives.The ideal candidate combines strong core business analysis skills with strategic, product-oriented thinking, solid data literacy, and excellent stakeholder management. Key Responsibilities 1. Core Business AnalysisLead requirements elicitation through workshops, interviews, and discovery sessions across business and technical stakeholders.Translate business needs into clear, testable requirements and user stories with well-defined acceptance criteria.Manage requirements throughout the lifecycle, including traceability, change control, and impact assessment for evolving scope.Develop AS-IS and TO-BE process maps (e.g., using BPMN, Visio, Lucidchart) and maintain related documentation.Identify process bottlenecks, risks, and improvement opportunities; recommend options and facilitate decisions.Perform structured analysis to break down complex, ambiguous problems into logical components.Conduct root-cause analysis, impact analysis, and cost/benefit assessment to support decision-making.Produce key BA deliverables (BRDs, functional specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows) and keep them current and accessible.Present findings, options, and recommendations in a clear, concise manner tailored to business and technical audiences. 2. Strategic & Product-Oriented ContributionsMap and manage a broad stakeholder landscape; understand priorities, constraints, and pain points across functions.Facilitate alignment among stakeholders where there are conflicts or competing requirements; support decision forums as needed.Help define problem statements, desired outcomes, and success metrics for leaders initiatives and features.Support the development of business cases by estimating benefits, costs, risks, and change impacts.Partner with Product Owners and Program Managers to refine and prioritize backlogs based on value, risk, and dependencies.Contribute to defining MVP scope, release plans, and feature priorities that align with long-term product and platform strategy.Apply domain knowledge to ensure solutions are practical, compliant, and aligned with typical industry processes and KPIs.Ensure regulatory, compliance, and risk considerations are understood and reflected in requirements and designs, escalating where needed. 3. Technical & Data-Related AnalysisUse data (reports, dashboards, KPIs) to understand current performance, validate hypotheses, and support recommendations.Collaborate with analytics and reporting teams to define requirements for new metrics, dashboards, and insights.Maintain a high-level understanding of relevant systems, integrations, data flows, and architecture to inform feasible solution options.Work closely with architects, developers, and QA to clarify requirements, support solution design, and ensure test coverage aligns with business needs.Use requirements and agile delivery tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence) to maintain backlogs, document decisions, and track progress.Build and maintain process and data models using tools such as Visio, Lucidchart, or similar.Demonstrate advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word to analyze data, build models, and create clear, executive-ready materials. 4. Leadership & Ways of WorkingDrive productive discussions, ensuring appropriate stakeholder participation and clear outcomes, actions, and owners.Influence stakeholders toward realistic, value-driven solutions and manage trade-offs between scope, timeline, and quality.Challenge assumptions respectfully, using data and structured analysis to support recommendations.Support change management activities in partnership with change managers, including stakeholder impact assessment, communications, training needs, and adoption tracking.Demonstrate resilience and adaptability in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment, balancing multiple priorities and shifting demands.Rapidly learn new domains, systems, and ways of working as leaders priorities evolve. Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Operations, or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience).Experience as a Business Analyst or similar role in complex, cross-functional initiatives.Proven experience leading end-to-end requirements and process analysis for large programs or portfolios.Demonstrated experience working in agile or hybrid delivery environments with Product Owners and cross-functional teams.Strong track record of partnering with senior stakeholders, managing conflicting priorities, and driving alignment.Hands-on experience with common BA and delivery tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, Visio/Lucidchart, Excel, PowerPoint).Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, visual) with the ability to tailor messages for executive, business, and technical audiences.Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating in a dynamic, changing environment.
