Software Application Engineer

This platform aims to alleviate users from infrastructure-specific configurations, allowing them to operate at a software level without worrying about underlying complexities. By developing a robust API platform, we aim to provide seamless integration and automation, ensuring end users can perform their tasks with minimal friction.Key Responsibilities:Design and implement RESTful APIs to manage LXD instances, ensuring they are secure, scalable, and efficient.Integrate LXD with existing systems and tools, replacing VMware-specific APIs with LXD-compatible ones.Develop scripts and tools to automate the deployment and management of LXD instances.Ensure the security of APIs by implementing best practices and protocols.Collaborate with internal teams to understand infrastructure requirements and translate them into API solutions.Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of best practices for API development.Qualifications:Proven experience in building scalable APIs.Proficiency in system-oriented languages like Go for high-performance API development.Strong understanding of RESTful API design and HTTP protocols.Experience with typesafe languages and security practices to prevent SQL injection and other vulnerabilities.Familiarity with microservices architecture.Ability to work in an agile environment and adapt to changing requirements.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to move fast and deliver high-quality solutions.
