We are looking for a part-time Outreach Programs Coordinator that will be responsible for the oversight of the community programs offered by SPCA Florida. This includes maintaining accurate records for clients on Food Assistance Program (FAP) and Ani-meals, as well as confirming they remain in compliance with the requirements of the program. Must have customer service skills and act as a spokesperson for the organization to promote our purpose and our programs to the general public. Job Duties, include but not limited to: Ensures members of the community qualify for assistance programs. Sets appointments with qualifying members of the community to get them established in the programs. Maintains accurate records for all community programs, including individuals’ qualifying factors, number of pets, spay/neuter records, and personal information. Follows up with clients to obtain needed information for them to remain in good standing and on the program. Collaborates with Volunteer Coordinator to ensure necessary help for the monthly FAP pick up. Sets the amount of food each member of FAP receives based on available food and supplies. Assists in soliciting food donations from businesses to ensure client needs can be met. Pick up donations as needed. Collaborates with Volunteer Coordinator to organize all community service, company, school, and other community projects that collaborate with SPCA Florida. Maintains cleanliness of the warehouse areas for the Community Programs. Responsible for sorting donations and determining which program they best serve. Trained to use pallet jack. Honor confidentiality of shelter business. Provide excellent customer service to the public, volunteers, and other staff members always. Gives tours of the shelter. Capable of working the volunteer events and major fundraising events as necessary. Performs other duties as required and assigned. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to utilize Microsoft Office applications and the Internet. Ability to communicate effectively both in writing and orally with all levels of employees, volunteers, and the public. Excellent interpersonal skills; attention to detail. Effective problem-solving skills. Must be well organized. Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Knowledge of ShelterLuv (or other similar) shelter software a plus. Able to lift up to 40 pounds with assistance. Bilingual Preferred Ability to work around animals. Must be compassionate, LOVE ANIMALS, and have a positive attitude.
