We are seeking a skilled Sr. AM Programmer join our team. As an Additive Manufacturing Programmer, your role involves evaluating customer data to ensure manufacturability for specific technologies, producing build files, and supporting machine operations. You'll collaborate with project engineering, quality, and finishing teams to address process variations and manufacturing challenges. Key responsibilities include maintaining good manufacturing practices, document control, and creating manufacturing travelers. Additional duties may involve backup machine operation, updating workflow system statuses, monitoring machine/material performance KPIs, and general floor maintenance. As a Sr. Additive Manufacturing Technician/Programmer, you will oversee daily department operations, manage schedules, and ensure machine performance. You will handle high-requirement tasks and collaborate with department leads and maintenance teams to optimize machine utilization and throughput. Additional responsibilities include continuous process improvement, monitoring machine/material performance, and working with engineering on process enhancements.What you will be doing:Organize and prepare incoming workload and set appropriate PE/PA and customer expectations for scheduling and qualityReview Work Instructions for product information and special needsAnalyze and repair customer files in Solid View and Magics to assess manufacturabilityResponsible for compliance with all required specifications for each job and their special needsResponsible for travelers to be analyzed per job requirementCommunicate and coordinate with other departments as it pertains to special instructions, part quality, and schedulingCommunicate and coordinate with operators as it pertains to scheduling, part quality, and special instructionsEscalate when problems in build arise, may troubleshoot minor issues with operatorsResponsible for compliance to all Quality Systems ManagementFollow all company safety policies and proceduresAttend all required company trainingDemonstrate commitments to Stratasys Behaviors by leading, acting, and modeling these valuesOther Responsibilities as assigned by the department or managerMust have for this role:High School Diploma or equivalentAdvance math skills and above average understanding of geometryIn depth knowledge of manufacturing technologyKnowledge in machine operating hardware and software4+ years of previous work experience with additive machinesAbility to work well with others occasionally leading projectsAbility to work independently on more complex jobsNice to have:Experience in CAD programs is preferredProficiency with Solid View and MagicsSome understanding of plastic propertiesHighly organized and capable of multi-tasking in a deadline driven environmentKeeps working area clean at all timesAbility to work overtime and weekends a plus
