Manufacturing Manager

Company Information:A global manufacturing organization is hiring a Manufacturing Manager to join their team in Greenwood, Indiana! This role is responsible for leading day-to-day manufacturing operations, executing production plans, coordinating resources, and ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality output while maintaining a strong hands-on presence on the shop floor to drive performance, uphold compliance, and support continuous improvement initiatives. Production Supervisor's Pay & Benefits$85K - $100K (based on experience) + Annual bonusMedical, Dental, VisionCompany-Matched 401kVacation, PTO And more!Production & Daily OperationsLead and manage daily manufacturing operations to meet production schedules and customer requirementsDevelop and manage production schedules and coordinate activities to ensure on-time deliveryCoordinate labor, equipment, materials, and processes to maintain efficient workflowMonitor production performance and key performance indicators (KPIs)Analyze reports and operational data to support decision-makingEnsure safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives are consistently metManage operational budgets, control costs, and identify efficiency improvementsMaintain organized work areas and uphold housekeeping standardsPeople LeadershipLead, coach, and develop production team membersFoster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and engagementDrive performance through strong leadership presence on the shop floorSet goals and track performance at the team and individual levelConduct performance evaluations and provide feedbackSupport hiring and training initiatives and partner with HR as neededQuality & Standardized WorkEnsure compliance with quality standards, SOPs, and work instructionsConduct audits and support adherence to operational processesControl quality deviations, defects, and production line stopsPartner with Quality teams on corrective actions and continuous improvementSupport internal quality systems and customer requirementsContinuous Improvement & Operational DisciplineIdentify and implement process improvementsDrive continuous improvement initiatives and performance meetingsSupport waste reduction and workflow optimizationEnsure adherence to internal operational standards and audit processesWork with Maintenance and support teams to minimize downtimeCross-Functional CollaborationCoordinate with Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, and other departmentsCommunicate effectively across teams to resolve issues and improve operationsBuild strong internal relationships to support production successQualifications & Experience5+ years of manufacturing or production experience2+ years of leadership or supervisory experienceBachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or Operations Management preferredStrong knowledge of production processes, quality systems, and safety standardsExperience with ERP systems or S&OP processes preferredAbility to lead, motivate, and develop teamsStrong planning, scheduling, and organizational skillsStrong problem-solving and communication abilitiesProficiency in Microsoft OfficeHow to ApplyEmail your resume to Tabatha.Tallent@expresspros.comCall 317-300-9503, Monday–Friday between 8AM–5PMVisit our office in person: 201 S.
