Join a travel opportunity as a Cath Lab Tech (Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) in Dodge City, KS at a hospital and play a vital role on a team that values your expertise. Assist physicians and cath lab personnel in performing diagnostic and interventional procedures, operate advanced imaging and hemodynamic equipment, and help capture crucial images and data of the heart and blood vessels. What You'll Need: Certified Radiologic Technologist (ARRT). BLS and ACLS (American Heart Association preferred). KS state licensure as required. Previous Cath Lab experience for cardiovascular procedures. Client requires prior cath lab experience. Experience with GE imaging and hemodynamic systems preferred. Experience charting in EPIC preferred. Orientation: 12 hours required by the facility. Minimum Requirements / Minimum Qualifications: ARRT certified Radiologic Technologist required. BLS and ACLS (AHA) required. KS state license required when applicable. Previous Cath Lab experience in a hospital setting required; must have experience with cardiovascular cases. Familiarity with GE imaging and hemodynamic systems preferred. Experience with EPIC charting preferred. Ability to respond to call within 30 minutes as required by the department. Willingness to complete unit-specific orientation for Cath Lab, Pre/Post, and OR. Must comply with facility requirements for radius and driver’s license submission (radius: 60 miles). Required certifications listed by client: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), ARRT (R). Assignment Details Facility type: Hospital. Shift name: Days. Schedule: 4x10 days with call and rotated weekends/holidays. Typical hours: 0800–1600 with 24/7 call coverage. On-call expectations: Rotated; 30-minute response time. Orientation week: Clinicians must be in-state for orientation week even if some modules are remote. Unit: Cath Lab Tech - single suite; average 2–3 cases per day. Float requirements: Cath Lab, Pre/Post, and OR for Cath Lab cases; no floating outside these areas. Scrub/dress code: Hospital-laundered scrubs. Required onboarding: Profile review with clinical recruiter and interview with unit manager. Location Highlights Explore Dodge City and southwest Kansas while on assignment. Visit the Boot Hill Museum and Heritage Trust for western history and local exhibits, about 1–2 miles from downtown. Wichita is about 150 miles east for additional urban amenities and regional air travel connections. The area supports an active outdoor lifestyle with accessible hunting, fishing, and open-country driving routes for weekend exploration.
