Description:Job Title:Advanced Practice Provider (ARNP / Physician Assistant) Pain Management Organization:Global Neuro & Spine Institute Job Type:Full-Time Position Summary The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) will deliver high-quality, patient-centered care within a multidisciplinary interventional pain management practice. Working collaboratively with supervising physicians, the APP will evaluate patients, diagnose pain-related conditions, develop individualized treatment plans, and manage ongoing care for patients experiencing acute and chronic pain. The APP will play an important role in supporting advanced pain management therapies including nerve blocks, spinal cord stimulators, epidural injections, and other minimally invasive treatments designed to restore patient function and improve quality of life. Key Responsibilities Perform comprehensive patient evaluations including detailed medical histories, physical exams, and pain assessmentsDiagnose and manage acute and chronic pain conditions, including spine-related and neuropathic disordersOrder and interpret diagnostic imaging and laboratory testsDevelop and implement individualized treatment plans focused on improving patient function and quality of lifeAssist physicians with or perform interventional pain procedures and therapeutic injections as appropriateMonitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans to optimize outcomesCollaborate with supervising physicians on complex or high-risk casesEducate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, medications, and preventive strategiesTriage patient concerns and evaluate urgent clinical issuesMaintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic medical recordEnsure continuity of care through coordination with physicians and clinical staffRespond to medical emergencies as needed, including Basic Life Support (BLS)/CPR Why Join Global Neuro & Spine Institute Established multi-location pain management practice across FloridaFocus on advanced interventional and minimally invasive spine treatmentsWork alongside fellowship-trained, board-certified physiciansOpportunity to treat complex chronic pain conditionsCollaborative clinical environment focused on innovation and patient educationRequirements: Knowledge: Knowledge of medical model and roles of physicians and physician assistants. Familiar with anatomy, pharmacology, pathophysiology, clinical medicine, and physical diagnosis. Knowledge of patient assessment techniques, including taking medical histories, performing physicals, evaluating health status, including state of wellness, and compliance with care recommendations. Knowledge of diagnosing and treating medical problems and developing care plans. Knowledge of documentation in medical records in a confidential manner. Skills: Skill in gathering and analyzing physiological, socioeconomic, and emotional patient data. Skill in accurately evaluating patient problems in person or via phone and providing appropriate advice, intervention, or referral. Skill in developing/revising patient care plan based on patient status. Abilities: Ability to make responsible decisions within the scope of PA practice. Ability to collaborate effectively with physicians on complicated cases. Ability to educate patients, families, and staff in a user-friendly manner.
