Job Title: Behavioral Health Care Coordinator Location: Chicago, Illinois Job Type: Contract Expected hours per week: 40 hours per week Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8-5 hybrid. Pay Range: $40-43 Per Hour Role Overview We’re seeking a licensed Behavioral Health Clinical Reviewer to support medical necessity and utilization review for behavioral health services across all levels of care. What You’ll Do Conduct clinical reviews to determine medical necessity for behavioral health services Review medical records and behavioral health documentation Provide telephonic support to members as needed Apply medical necessity criteria for outpatient, IOP, PHP, and inpatient levels of care Review cases involving contract interpretation and behavioral health diagnoses Ensure accurate, timely clinical decision-making Required Qualifications Active, unrestricted Illinois license : LCPC, LCSW, LMFT, or RN 3+ years clinical experience in: Psychiatric / behavioral health setting, or Independent behavioral health practice Strong written and verbal communication skills Solid clinical judgment and analytical skills Comfortable working with PC systems and databases Preferred Utilization Review (UR) or Medical Necessity review experience Experience in managed care or health plan environments #J-18808-Ljbffr
