CNC Mill Set-up/Operator 2nd ShiftMSK Precision Products, Inc., a world-class medical device contract manufacturer located in South Florida, is looking for a talented 2nd shift CNC Mill Setup/Operator with 3 and 5 Axis experience.We specialize in manufacturing superior high precision parts and assembly for the medical, telecommunication and aerospace industries. Complex medical and aerospace components are our specialty.With a packaging and assembly department, MSK is capable of providing individual parts or complete finished assemblies for their customers.Our certifications include: AS9100D Certified - ISO 13485 Certified - ISO 9001 CertifiedCurrently, we are only looking for local candidates.SUMMARY- Setup, operate and maintain operations on one or more CNC controlled vertical milling centers per verbal or written instructions, sketch sheets or engineering drawings (Haas 3-axis and DMG 3-axios with 2-axis trunnion).Job ResponsibilitiesEnsure all required setup and run documentation such as process sheets and inspection check sheets are in place.Verify appropriate tooling, speeds, feeds, and processes to achieve production and quality requirements.Modify or activate CNC programs used to produce specific parts.Optimize existing programs, tooling, or processes to achieve or exceed production and quality requirements.Obtain first piece verification, complete in process check sheets and maintain all dimensions to required tolerances.Train, instruct or assist less skilled operators on specific job task requirements, including all paperwork, and confirm cycle efficiency and correctness of parts produced by trained operator.Make adjustments to the set-up, tool wear offsets or CNC program, as required. Inform operator(s) of any changes to the program process, production or quality requirements.Perform preventative maintenance on assigned equipment per approved schedules.Document and report any changes made to the machine setup or program.Accurately complete set-up verification check sheets, output and other documentation as required by management.Responsible for housekeeping and maintaining a clean and safe work place.Other production duties as assigned.Job Requirements3-5 years on the job experience with 3 and 5 axis machines.Familiar with machining tight-tolerance products.Ability to interpret blue prints.Ability to use inspection equipment (mics, calipers, vision systems, etc...)Ability to understand common CNC programs.Must have a strong mechanical aptitude and exceptional problem-solving skills.Experience working in an ISO environment, a plus.Ability to read and write English.Excellent communication skills.Excellent work ethic and a positive attitude.Be a team player working within common goals of the company and the team.Hours-Monday through Friday, 4:20 pm to 1:50 am.
