The ideal candidate will demonstrate technical proficiency, attention to safety, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.ResponsibilitiesPerform radiographic exams as ordered by physiciansConduct fluoroscopic and portable imaging procedures as requiredEnsure patient and staff safety by adhering to radiation protection standardsPosition patients accurately and operate imaging equipment effectivelyMaintain versatility across all areas of the diagnostic radiology departmentSchedule exams and manage workflow using department systemsUtilize patient transport systems to coordinate imaging servicesAccess and manage patient exam information, including ordering, reprinting, and cancellationsReport equipment issues promptly to management and clinical engineering teamsCommunicate effectively with interdisciplinary departmentsAssist with on-call coordination when necessarySupport radiologic technologist students as neededParticipate in quality assurance, regulatory compliance, and departmental auditsMaintain accurate documentation and patient recordsRequired EducationGraduate of an ARRT-accredited Radiologic Technology programRequired Certifications & LicensureARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certificationBasic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart AssociationFor more details reach at or Call / Text at 516-587-6677.About Navitas Healthcare, LLC: It is a certified WBENC and one of the fastest-growing healthcare staffing firms in the US providing Medical, Clinical and Non-Clinical services to numerous hospitals.
