Job Title: MS Power Platform Developer Location: North Carolina (Hybrid – 2 Days/Week Onsite) Duration: 11+ Months Interview Mode: In-Person Interview Required Rate: $70/hr. on W2Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated MS Power Platform Developer to join our team for a long-term project supporting public health infrastructure initiatives for the State of North Carolina. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Pages, Dataverse, and SQL-based integrations.The selected candidate will be responsible for designing and developing a centralized reporting and management solution that supports both internal users and external stakeholders. This role requires expertise in scalable application development, data architecture, authentication workflows, and secure system integrations.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop scalable applications using Microsoft Power Apps (Canvas Apps, Model-Driven Apps, and Power Pages). Build secure and user-friendly portals for both internal and external users using Power Pages. Develop and manage structured data models within Microsoft Dataverse. Create and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database structures for reporting and integrations. Implement secure authentication, user verification, and role-based access controls. Develop integrations between Dataverse and local SQL databases using SQL connectors. Automate cross-checking between authenticated portal users and SQL databases. Perform application testing, debugging, troubleshooting, and performance tuning. Maintain technical documentation including architecture diagrams, workflows, and data models. Provide training and support to business users as needed. Required Qualifications7+ years of experience in MS Power Platform development and implementation Strong expertise in: Power Apps Power Pages Microsoft Dataverse 7+ years of experience with SQL database structures and query optimization Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Ability to work independently and collaboratively within teams Strong task prioritization and time management skills Highly DesiredMicrosoft Certification – Power Platform Developer Associate Candidate RequirementsMust be comfortable working in a Hybrid model (2 days/week onsite) Must be available for an In-Person Interview This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to impactful public health initiatives while working on modern Microsoft technologies in a collaborative environment.
