Job Description
Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Certification and minimum 2+ years Surgical Tech / Operating Room Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.Seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technician (CST) specializing in Operating Room Technology (ORT) to support surgical services in a dynamic hospital setting. This travel opportunity offers a variety of shifts and exposure to a diverse surgical case mix, including orthopedic, neuro, and cardiovascular procedures.Key Responsibilities:Assist surgical teams by preparing operating rooms and instruments in compliance with established protocols.Support specialties including orthopedic trauma, total joint support, neurologic, peripheral vascular, and cardiovascular surgeries.Maintain sterile fields and ensure patient safety throughout surgical procedures.Float within the OR as needed to support various surgical cases and teams.Qualifications and Experience:Minimum of 2 years recent experience as a CST in a hospital-based OR environment.Proficient with EPIC electronic medical records and general surgical skills.Experience with Da Vinci robotic surgical systems preferred.Comprehensive knowledge of orthopedic procedures, including trauma and total joint surgeries.Active NBSTSA or NCCT certification required at the time of application.Ability to adapt to varying start times and shift schedules.Schedule:10-hour shifts with varied start times between 7:00 AM and 3:00 PM.Weekend and holiday availability required on an as-needed basis.Floating within the OR is expected.Location:Saint Paul, Minnesota, offers a vibrant urban setting with rich cultural attractions, scenic parks, and diverse dining options.
