At Thompson, we believe every detail matters, and our colleagues play a vital role in bringing our brand to life.Position SummaryThe Houseperson plays an important role in supporting the Housekeeping team and maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of the hotel. This position assists Room Attendants with supplies, linen distribution, trash removal, public area upkeep, and special projects to help ensure guestrooms and public spaces meet Thompson and Hyatt brand standards.ResponsibilitiesSupport Room Attendants by delivering supplies, linens, amenities, and equipment throughout the shift.Remove soiled linens, trash, and recyclables from guest floors and housekeeping carts.Restock housekeeping carts, linen closets, and storage areas.Maintain cleanliness and organization of housekeeping closets, service areas, and back-of-house spaces.Clean and maintain assigned public areas, hallways, elevators, stairwells, and guest-facing spaces.Assist with special projects, deep cleaning assignments, mattress moves, and room setup needs as assigned.Deliver guest-requested items promptly and professionally.Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, and cleanliness issues to the appropriate departments.Support housekeeping operations to ensure guestrooms are guest-ready and meet brand standards.Follow all hotel safety, sanitation, and security procedures.Perform other duties as assigned to support the operation and guest experience.BenefitsFree meals during shiftsFree onsite parkingComplimentary and discounted Hyatt hotel stays worldwideMedical, Dental, and Vision Insurance (eligible colleagues)Retirement Savings PlanPaid Time OffCareer growth opportunities with Hyatt Hotels & ResortsHyatt Values: Empathy | Wellbeing | Respect | Integrity | Experimentation | InclusionQualificationsPrevious housekeeping, janitorial, or hospitality experience preferred.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Excellent communication and guest service skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Must be available to work weekends and holidays.Physical RequirementsThis position is physically demanding and requires frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, reaching, pushing, pulling, and lifting throughout the shift.
