Superintendent- Commercial Masonry

Job DescriptionOverview A well-established specialty contractor is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent with strong masonry experience. This role oversees day-to-day field operations on commercial projects. The Superintendent ensures projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.Key ResponsibilitiesLead on-site crews.Coordinate workforce, trades, and subcontractors across active projectsManage multiple projects simultaneously and maintain job schedulesOversee masonry scopes including tuckpointing, brick/block repair, stone restoration, and sealant workEnsure proper installation techniques and quality control for restoration and waterproofing systemsCommunicate daily with foremen and field techniciansMonitor project budgets, material usage, and productivityPromote and enforce jobsite safety with a goal of zero incidentsConduct safety meetings and ensure compliance with all safety policiesDocument progress using daily reports, photographs, and as-builtsApprove timecards, material orders, and equipment invoicesAssist with training and development of field personnelQualificationsStrong background in masonry construction, restoration, or building envelope work is highly preferredAbility to read and interpret blueprints, details, and specificationsExcellent leadership, communication, and team coordination skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with construction management software (e.g., Procore or similar)Bilingual fluency is a plusRequirementsMinimum of 2+ years' experience in construction supervision; masonry and restoration project experience strongly preferredAbility to work at heights using scaffolding, lifts, and laddersAbility to stand, walk, climb, and lift 50+ pounds as requiredAPPLY NOW and send your resume to melissa.strater@gogpac.com and text to schedule a fully confidential call with Melissa Strater at 803.335.1548.
