We value the services that our Maintenance staff provide to the school district. No experience necessary but certainly experience as a maintenance mechanic is a plus. Applicants with knowledge in any of the following: grounds work, electrical, plumbing, HVAC equipment, and/or controls are all helpful but not required. The substitute hourly rate for this position is $20.25 per hour effective July 1, 2024. The Southern York County School District is a high-performing district serving approximately 3,000 students K-12 located in south-central Pennsylvania. The suburban district is located just off Interstate 83 between Harrisburg and Baltimore. In addition, Southern has been recognized for its many award-winning programs in academics, the arts, sports, and other extracurricular activities.
