Duties
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding promptly to customer inquiries and addressing any concerns.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of products and services, including their features and benefits.
- Utilize product demonstrations to engage customers and promote products.
- Operate a cash register or point-of-sale system, handling cash, credit card transactions, and counting change accurately.
- Process returns and exchanges in accordance with company policies.
- Perform basic math calculations to complete sales transactions and handle cash and credit transactions.
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the sales floor, stockroom, and cashier areas.
- Collaborate with other sales associates to achieve sales goals and provide support when needed.
- Participate in product displays and visual merchandising to create visually appealing store displays.
- Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues using excellent phone etiquette.
- Maintain a high level of product knowledge and stay up-to-date on new products and promotions.
Experience
- Previous experience in pageant and retail sales or a related field is preferred.
- Proven ability to work in a team environment and contribute to a positive and supportive work culture.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment is a must.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Skills
- Excellent sales skills and the ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Basic math skills and the ability to handle cash and credit transactions accurately.
- Proficiency in using a point-of-sale system.
- Strong phone etiquette skills.
- Bilingual skills are a plus.
- Ability to provide product demos and showcase products effectively.
- Retail math skills are necessary for accurate sales transactions.
- Experience supervising others is a plus, but not required.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $10.00 - $13.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 per week
